Carrying 2 sheaths?
I'm looking to purchase the Terava 110 knife w/ sheath and possibly the Terava Skrama 240 w/ sheath. Do you traditionally wear the more used knife on your dominant-side or opposite-side and retrieve by reaching across your waist? If I am right-handed, which sheaths would you recommend I get for these 2 knives? For example, would I get the 110 with the right-handed sheath (if I access it more frequently) & the Skrama with the left-handed sheath? Or do you some people wear 2 sheaths on the same side? Thank you in advance!
I’m in the market for a work horse sheath knife. I like classic looks with a leather sheath, but want something that can take reasonable stress. Any ideas?

Ergos are on point with a blocky handle, great finger groove at the thumb stud scallop. Clip is snug and low profile without being a pain. Really like this one it’s just a little big for me. Very nice knife, super thin, tough and sharp - it also has the lowest weight to blade ratio of my collection. But it's a little big again for my needs. Hey swappers, I have a few fixed blades here that were going to be project/rehabs, but I don't really have time for them. Hopefully someone might be interested in these. Selling cheap to move these out and reduce some clutter. Timestamp and pics Boker GITFO (C) - $35$30 SOLD Second owner. This knife is in good shape overall, but the edge needs some rehab. Also some sharpening scratches on the presentation primary bevel. Previous owner modded the sheath with a "wave" for out of pocket deployment, works pretty good. Terava Mini-Skrama (A) - $30 SOLD Brand new from Finland. Nice little chunk of 80CRV2. Designed as a companion knife to the full size Skrama. The leather sheath is really just a slip, it has no retention. Review of traditional and unorthodox chopper: Terävä Skrama
I've had a lot of fun with a fairly unorthodox chopper, rooted in traditional Scandinavian design. The maker, Finnish Varusteleka, is originally a military surplus & gear store, but not being quite satisfied with some of the gear, they decided to design some improved versions of both military and non-military gear, launching some sub brands, including Terävä (Finnish for "sharp") for knives. I've been using mostly their big "Leuku", the Skrama for the last year, but also the smaller "Puukko", the Jääkäripuukko (Hunter's Knife), and I have been very happy with both. The chopper is just fantastic and pretty much replaces an axe in most outdoors uses, but also is a decent carving knife as it is differentially sharpened. The puukko is in the same range as the Peltonen Sissipuukko and the Mora Garberg, but substantially cheaper. It doesn't have the same finish as the other two, but performs the same and is a really good choice. Both come in both carbon and stainless, but only the Skrama currently has MOLLE sheaths as well as leather. So I'm looking for a small knife, like 8cm or less (3.14 inches). It should be light and have a full length handle. I'll be using it for food prep, woodworking, fire ( making kindling and striking the ferro rod) and just basical being on my person for knife tasks (cutting string/rope etc). This looks pretty good, but with no sheath is annoying. This one has a slightly different shape, can someone tell me the pros/cons of the different shapes ? And again no sheath.. (I do have a small amount of leather that I might try making into a sheath.) I've also seen the Condor mini bushlore which I can buy for 90chf (about 90$). I don't really care for the wooden handle, I wouldn't mind rubber or paracord. And then of course there is the Morakinv Eldris, which may be too small, but I read somewhere that it has better steel than the Condor, is that true ? It can be either stainless or carbon. I currently have a 14cm(5,5 inch), heavy (310g) püükko, which I find a bit redundent to carry around with an axe. Any insight or suggestions ? Edit: The ESEE Izulas look very good

Das Puukko ist wie das Skrama ein Arbeitsmesser durch und durch, rein auf Funktionalität ausgelegt und tut exakt was es soll.
